Raf Choudhury

Executive Director

Executive Director of Baseline Sports, Raf Choudhury is a former member of Great Britain’s National Baseball Team and brings over 25 years in baseball experience. He has played in European Championships, Olympic qualifiers, and throughout Europe promoting the game of baseball through MLB International.

Over the course of the last 20+ years, Coach Raf has been a staple in the baseball community throughout Ontario and Canada, as a player, coach, and umpire. He is a Learning Facilitator and Coach Developer for Baseball Canada. Presently, he is the National Team coach and International Advisor to the Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Federation.

For Raf, it is a lifelong passion to develop athletes and help them achieve their personal goals and to be able to become the best athlete they can be. This desire has turned into what is now Baseline Sports. With a fantastic team, innovative teaching techniques, and a safe and fun environment, Baseline Sports has become the ultimate athletes’ destination.

Coach Single

Junior Mentor/Coach

Through his outstanding ability to connect with youth audiences, Single has had the oppurtunity to work with Nike Canada, Jordan Brand, Brampton Parks and Rec, Canada Youth Services, the NBA and NHL, as well as a multitude of other outstanding organizations. His nonsense appraoch, tremendous communication skills and strong focus to developing a “complete” athlete (emotionally, mentally and physically) brings campers back time and time again. Camp Director Single, as he is affectionately known, brings his incredible energy and experience to an alread established, high-preforming, and growing Baseline Sports brand.

Kamran Chaudharry

Logistics & Purchasing Manager

Kamran manages our store, while keeping everything organized and making sure we have the right equipment for our athletes. Kamran attended Ryerson University for Web Design after attending Seneca College for Accounting and Marketing. Any question you have, Kamran can answer.

CJ Machete

Senior Instructor

CJ attended Division 1 Connors State Junior College on scholarships from 2011 to 2013, where he was a Conference and Region Champion, both in 2013 NJCAA World Series team, where he placed 5th in the nation. CJ then attended Southern Mississippi University on scholarship from 2014 to 2016, where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Administration. Machete played Intercounty baseball from 2012 to 2015, as a member of the Barrie Baycats in 2012, and the Burlington Bandits from 2013 to 2015.

Jeremias Sucre

Senior Instructor

Jeremias was born in Canada, but spent his childhood in Venezuela. Upon returning to Canada, Jeremias was offered an academic scholarship to Ryerson University where he studies electrical engineering. He has also been a member of the Ryerson Rams Baseball Team since 2015, and the Leaside Junior/Senior Baseball Teams from 2015 to 2017. While in Venezuela, he was a member of the 90 Millas Baseball Academy in 2011 to 2012, and trained with Navegantes del Magallanes in 2011.

Christopher Procopio

Senior Instructor

Christopher attended Division 1 Highland Comunity College in Kansas on scholarship from 2017 to 2018. Christopher will be attending Monroe Community College beginning Fall 2019. Christopher also played in the Intercounty Baseball League, as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2017 and the Guelph Royals in 2018.

Mena Florio

Senior Instructor

Mena graduated First Class from York University in 2018 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree, in Biomedical Science. She is currently attending Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in the Doctor of Chiropractic degree program, with graduation set for 2022. Mena has been a member of the Ontario Provincial Baseball Program from the age of 14, and currently plays for the Ontario Women’s Provincial Baseball Team. She is a 6 time Baseball Canada National Champion.
